Important: Updated Measures Due To DORSCON Orange

Feb 7, 2020

Dear Church,

In view of the latest developments in the COVID-2019 situation, Suntec Convention will be implementing thermal screening from today. To avoid delays, able-bodied members are advised to go to Level 6 via the escalators at the Big Screen at Level 1.

  1. Entry to Suntec Convention will be limited to

    • Big Screen at Level 1
    • All Convention Centre lifts
    • Loading bay for authorized vehicles

All other entry points will be blocked off by Suntec. (Eg If you are coming by Level 2 from Marina Square via the bridge, you will be directed to the Level 1 Big Screen entry point.)

  2. Thermal scanning and temperature-taking by Suntec will take place at the Big Screen at Level 1 and inside the lifts. As such, please expect delays if you take the lift.
  3. CHC transport support for weekend services:

    A. Mini-buses in Basement 1 and 2
Mini-buses will pick up CHC members from the B1 and B2 Lift Lobbies A and B to bring them to Level 6 via the loading bay. Temperature-taking will take place before you board the mini-bus.

    Mini-buses will run:
    Saturday 15 Feb: 4.15pm to 5.30pm
    Sunday 16 Feb: 9.15am to 10.30am

    B. Mini-bus at Level 1
For families with young children, pregnant women and the elderly, we will charter a mini-bus to pick them up from the Level 1 Big Screen and bring them to Level 6 via the loading bay. Temperature-taking will take place before members board the mini-bus.

The Level 1 mini-bus will run:
    Saturday 15 Feb: 4.15pm to 5.30pm
    Sunday 16 Feb: 9.30am to 10.30am

  4. All cell group meetings are cancelled with immediate effect.
  5. Dialect and JAMs services have been cancelled for this weekend. Saturday 5pm and Sunday 10am Harvest Kidz services held in 606 Rooms will continue.
  6. Please continue to observe all safety measures that have been communicated:

    a. If you are unwell and have flu symptoms, please see a doctor and stay home. Do join us for service online via The CHC App or church website chc.org.sg

    b. Please observe good personal hygiene: wash your hands, don’t touch your mouth and nose with your hands unnecessarily, wear a mask if you are unwell, see a doctor.

    c. If you have returned recently from China, please observe a 14-day leave of absence from church.

While we must exercise wisdom and take all these necessary measures to keep our congregation safe, let’s fix our eyes on Jesus. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Num 6:24-26)

See you at service this weekend.
