Dialect Service

Finding a need and meeting it ... finding a hurt and healing it.

City Harvest Dialect Service is committed to reaching out to the local Cantonese and Hokkien-speaking communities, particularly the elderly, and bringing the reality of Christ’s love into their lives.

City Harvest Dialect Service began in 1996 through visitations to the destitute and the elderly. Many of those we reached out to were living alone in low-cost housing and often were barely able to care for their own basic needs. Through genuine and consistent care, coupled with practical aid, our ministry began to see great impact and increase.

Dialect Service

Presently, our weekly service is conducted every Sunday in Cantonese and Hokkien simultaneously. Besides vibrant praise and worship, we also conduct fun interactive activities and drama presentations to help illustrate the preaching of God’s Word.

During the week, Senior Members’ Fellowship Groups are held at various locations to give our members a deeper sense of belonging and to encourage bonds of friendship between them.

If you want more information about our ministry or if you desire to serve with us to reach more within the dialect-speaking community, please email us.
