Our readers are in for a special treat this New Year!

The Harvest Times team knows you've been tremendously blessed by the amazing teaching articles written by Rev. Dr. Kong Hee, founder of City Harvest Church (Singapore). So in order to sate your appetite for more spiritual content from the man of God, we are bringing you TWO features from Rev. Kong in every future issue.

This first print of 2008, Ps. Kong shares on two very distinct topics - one that relates to our public persona, and another that speaks to our personal life.

In Getting Out of the Bunker, he uses the account of the apostle Paul's time at Mars Hill to relate how we can effectively be in the world, but yet not of the world. The polar opposites for the standards we live by as believers are aptly named Alienation and Accommodation, but as with so many other principles from the Word of God, balance is the key! Through Paul's exemplary disposition and wisdom, Ps. Kong teaches how we can embrace a life of "holy worldliness" that is holy unto the Lord while remaining relevant and integrated with the rest of society as we know it today.

In Choosing the Right Parter for Life, Ps. Kong spills the

beans on one of the most oft-asked questions through the ages... "What is L.O.V.E. and how do I find it???" Through a systematic exposition of God's original purpose for spousal relationships, deadly love myths we tend to subscribe to, as well as the importance of debunking these myths, this feature is rich with "relationship advice" that we all can benefit from. In the same vein, our regular Family Talk contributor Larry Keefauver presents his article, How to Envision the Right Mate.

Rinally, the team at Harvest Times would like to wish all our readers an amazing year ahead! We appreciate all the letters and e-mails you've sent sharing how your faith has been refreshed and strengthened through the articles we published in each issue. It is our privilege to serve you and we hope that Harvest Times can continue to accompany you in your exciting walk with Christ.

Best wishes for 2008!
