TERMINALLY ILL MINISTRY
This is a ministry which aims to make a difference in the lives of people who are terminally-ill, as well as their families. Many of them actually suffer the shame and stigmas associated with the disease and usually choose to withdraw from society. As a result, they often lead isolated lives and become afraid to interact with others.
Through regular home or hospital visitations, we comfort these patients and provide practical and emotional support during their time of medical need.
Positions Available
Volunteer
As a ministry volunteer, you will visit the terminally-ill at the hospitals/homes and befriend them. Transport will be provided every week and volunteers will go in groups to the hospitals/homes.
Supervisor
After serving for a period of time in the ministry, outstanding volunteers will be asked to supervise a team of volunteers each week, encouraging and motivating them for ministry. You will brief, assign and coordinate them in the various programs. As the supervisor, you must set an example to the volunteers by being proactive in reaching out to the terminally-ill, and thus, your fruitfulness will be seen in your proven positive influence.
