USHERING MINISTRY
The ministry of helps is essential to every move of God and to every church. This vital ministry in CHC desires to support the ministry of the Word and Spirit by rendering practical support that will facilitate the efficient running of every service and meeting. This includes every aspect before, during and after the meeting, e.g., arranging of the hall, preparing the bulletins and materials to be given out, preparation for the offering and the communion elements, etc.
Ushers are a group of people with vibrant and friendly personalities, who greet the visitors and make them feel welcome.
Another group of important people in this ministry are the traffic marshalls who serve the people in CHC in one of the most practical ways-ensuring smooth traffic flow of people from the bus stops and motor vehicles coming in and out of the parking lots in the building. They brave the sun and rain to ensure that the driveways around CHC are not obstructed, so as to ensure the safety of both drivers and pedestrians. Traffic marshals also guide vehicles to available parking lots around the premises.
This ministry is the largest in CHC, with over 800 members serving actively! Be part of the exciting usher team today!
