JAMS CHURCH MINISTRY (INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED)
The intellectually disabled must be given a chance to hear the message of Jesus Christ. They must be able to express their love and worship for God in their own special way, in an environment that they can be comfortable in.
The JAMS church is a place where the intellectually disabled can experience the reality of God's love through praise and worship and simple Bible lessons.
Practical skills are also taught to help them maximize their potential and learning abilities. We currently have a team of committed workers who are making a difference in the lives of the JAMS church members. If you have a passion for the intellectually disabled and love serving in a different environment, then join us and be part of this exciting team!
Positions Available
JAMS Church Worker
The JAMS church worker assists in running the JAMS church service. This requires a great deal of creativity and innovative ideas. There are 2 different roles for a JAMS church worker, namely the visitation helper and the transport helper.
The JAMS visitation helper reaches out to the intellectually disabled through home visitations, getting to know their family backgrounds so as to help them more effectively.
The JAMS transport helper fetches the JAMS church members to and from church every Saturday/Sunday. The transport helper carries a very important responsibility during the transport operations due to the special needs of the intellectually disabled children. However, with love, patience and careful supervision, the job always gets done!
JAMS Tutor
The JAMS tutor conducts tuition classes for the JAMS church members. A great deal of patience and empathy is needed, as the children are intellectually sub-normal.
JAMS Security Personnel
The JAMS security personnel watch over the safety of the JAMS Church members to ensure that none of them wander off unattended or get lost.

On duty during JAMS church service every alternate week on either Saturdays or
