CELL GROUP MINISTRY

Ezekiel 34:23 talks about the role of a shepherd. The cell group leader has the awesome responsibility of shepherding a cell group made up of between 10 to 15 members. He/She influences and impacts the lives of these members to live according to God's Word. The leader helps the cell group members to grow in their spiritual walk with God by providing guidance, counseling and exhortation.

This challenging ministry is for you if you know that God has called you to be His extended arm and voice to His people. If you desire to preach God's Word, to shepherd God's people and to see lives changed under the power of God, then take up the challenge and answer the call of God in your life today!


Positions Available

Potential Cell Group Leader

As the cell group grows in number, it will multiply into two groups. The potential cell group leader may be the up-and-coming leader for the multiplied group. Before multiplication, he/she assists the cell group leader during the weekly cell meetings as well as in the follow-up system of the cell group. He/She will attend training sessions that teach the following:
  • Successful Home Cell Group Leadership (8 lessons)
  • The Art of Worship Leading (1 lesson)
  • The Art of Preaching (10 lessons)
Cell Group Leader

The cell group leader leads the exciting weekly cell group meetings. This involves leading praise & worship and preaching the Word of God. He/She is responsible for the well-being and spiritual growth of the members under his/her care. The cell group leader must first be an example to the members and motivate them to win souls for Jesus, and thereafter disciple them to become mature Christians.

Attend weekly potential cell group leaders' training class held every Wednesday or attend a quarterly crash course on leadership training

Attend the respective zone's discipleship training every Tuesday or Wednesday

Attend cell group meetings very regularly

Visit and counsel members when necessary
