CHILDREN'S CHURCH MINISTRY
This fun-filled, energy-packed and creative ministry is NOT for the fainthearted! Week after week, the team of Children's Church workers leads hundreds of children through sessions of exciting and exhilarating Children's Church Services. In this ministry, you will experience the joy of seeing many children give their hearts to Jesus.
The vision of this dynamic ministry is to raise up children who love God and fear Him even at a tender age. The uniqueness of this ministry lies in its outreach to street kids and neighborhood children of unsaved families.
If you are available, creative and good with children, then YOU have what it takes to be part of the Children's Church ministry!
Positions Available
Visitation Worker
As a visitation worker, you will work together with a visitation leader in doing home visitations to a group of children every week and establishing a consistent relationship with them. A high percentage of these children come from a non-Christian background, therefore, you will play an important role in showing the love of Christ to these children and their families.
Children's Church Service Worker
The Children's Church runs seven services every week for children aged 4 to 12 years old. You will mingle with the children during the service you attend. You will play a big part in creating an exciting and faith-filled atmosphere where the children come to enjoy themselves and experience God in a tangible way.
Playgroup Service Worker
This ministry also oversees five playgroup services which is specially catered for the little ones aged 18 months to 3 years old. As a playgroup worker, you will contribute towards making the playgroup service a fun and nurturing environment where the toddlers can enjoy themselves and know God more through the activities.
Bus Worker
As a bus worker, parents entrust their children into your care each week. You will board a bus as it makes its regular bus trips around the various neighborhoods, fetching the children to church for the weekly Children's Church services.
And while you're on the bus, utilize your time and get to know all these children! Be ready to conduct interesting and fun-filled bus activities as you prepare them on their journey to church.
Creative Outreach
Join this exciting and creative part of the Children's Church ministry as a means of outreach to children, both in CHC and outside the four walls of the church. You will be trained and equipped with special skills like entertaining the kids by being a clown and performing simple tricks.
